În cursul anului 2014, la Zlín vor sosi patru noi troleibuze, echipate de ŠKODA ELECTRIC. Deocamdată, toate cele patru noi troleibuze sunt testate în Plzeň, oraşul în care au fost echipate şi finalizate.
    Un troleibuz este de tip ŠKODA 24Tr IRISBUS CITELIS, cu caroserie şi mecanică realizate la uzina din Vysoké Mýto. Este singurul dotat cu agregat DIESEL pentru deplasare autonomă.
      Un troleibuz este de tip ŠKODA 26Tr SOLARIS, cu caroserie şi mecanică realizate în Polonia.
        Două troleibuze sunt de tip ŠKODA 27Tr SOLARIS, cu caroserie şi mecanică realizate în Polonia.

          In perioada 2011-2014 au fost achizitionate 33 troleibuze, din care 31 unitati cu fonduri europene.

          Flota operatorului de transport, DSZO, este formata din 36 autobuze si 56 troleibuze.

          In acest an, troleibuzele Skoda 14Tr au fost retrase din circulatie, fiind vandute altor orase (Ternopol, Lvov, etc).

          In urma unui incident (soferului i s-a facut rau), troleibuzul cu nr. 458 a fost avariat.

          A fost prezentat primul troleibuz cu baterii din dotarea DSZO.

          In urma extinderii cu 950 m, in Otrokovice, traseul 55 este deservit cu troleibuze.
