Proiectul de realizare a unui sistem BHNS intre Montbeliard si Valentigney (lungime cca 16 km) dateaza din anul 2009.

Dorinta este de a realiza o linie de troleibuz (THNS), in ciuda faptului ca troleibuzul nu are o dezvoltare prea consistenta in Franta. De altfel, s-a renuntat la fabricarea troleibuzelor Cristalis.

La finele anului 2012 s-au realizat studiile, salvate in atasament.

Inca nu s-a ales materialul rulant insa, probabil, el nu va fi troleibuzul.
