Zone tarifare.

Incepand cu 1 iulie 2015 au fost puse in functiune doua trasee circuit, I si P ("Ring Rail Line"), ce fac legatura cu Aeroportul (Lentoasema).

Au sosit in sfarsit in aceasta vara ultimele din cele 81 de rame electrice Sm5 comandate. Toate cele 50 de rame Sm1 (fabricate intre 1968 si 1973) au fost scoase din uz si urmeaza sa fie casate. 15 au fost deja casate. O unitate va fi pastrata pentru Muzeul National al Cailor Ferate. Din ramele Sm2 (fabricate 1975-1981) mai sunt folosite inca cateva pentru cateva servicii de la ore de varf: dimineata de la Riihimäki, respectiv Kouvola si Lahti, spre Helsinki, si seara inapoi; si pe rutele regionale Riihimäki - Lahti si Kouvola - Kotka. Acestea cel mai probabil vor mai supravietui inca vreo 10 ani inainte sa fie inlocuite.

In traficul local din zona metropolitana nu mai exista decat rame electrice clasa Sm5, Stadler Flirt. Motoarele din clasa Sm4 circula acum doar pe rutele regionale Helsinki - Riihimäki (dintre care unele continua pana la Tampere) si Helsinki - Lahti (dintre care unele continua pana la Kouvola).

Alta noutate este ca linia E acum circula si in weekenduri, si trenurile liniei A incep sa circule mai devreme in diminetile de weekend.

Iata harta actualizata. Liniile R, T, D (acesta circula doar in zile lucratoare la ore de varf pe directia "principala"), G, Z sunt operate de VR, celelalte de HSL. Pe T si Z circula doar Sm4, pe D si G circula Sm2,e R circula ocazional Sm2.
