Începând cu data de 12 februarie 2018, în scopul îmbunătățirii serviciilor de transport ale locuitorilor noului cartier Iubileinâii Kvartal, se prelungește traseul troleibuzului № 2 de la strada Șavrova, pe strada Utoșkina și bulevardul Koroliov, până la strada Gluharskaia.
De la strada Utoșkina până la strada Gluharskaia, troleibuzele vor circula în modul autonom, cu ajutorul bateriilor. Această porțiune de traseu are aproximativ 7 km.

Aceasta este a treia linie de troleibuz, dată în exploatare în ultimile două luni, ce folosește noile troleibuze autonome cu încărcare dinamică TrolZa 5265.02 MEGAPOLIS și 5265.08 MEGAPOLIS.

Troleibuzele BELKOMMUNMAȘ BKM 32100D sunt importate din Belarus.
Sunt troleibuze echipate cu baterii TOSHIBA litium-titanat, ce permit o autonomie de deplasare de 10 - 15 km, în funcție de condițiile de drum, permițând reîncărcarea dinamică a bateriilor.
Sunt echipate cu electromotor de tracțiune în curent alternativ tip DTA-1U1, având 180 kW, produs în Rusia.
Au echipament de comandă și control tip ARS-TERM Novosibirsk, produs de asemenea în Rusia.
