Pe fondul saraciei, al parcului invechit, orasele din Georgia si-au desfiintat retelele de transport electric (Tbilisi, capitala Georgiei, a avut si tramvaie). Troleibuzele au fost inlocuite cu autobuze si preponderent cu dube.

Exista o exceptie, capitala republicii separatiste Abhazia, Sukhumi. Orasul este situat pe malul Marii Negre si are o populatie de cca 39.000 locuitori.

Exista 3 trasee de troleibuz, cu nr. 1, 2 si 4.

In timp ce se inchid sistemele cu troleibuze din propria ograda, Rusia sustine transportul din tot felul de regiuni separatiste. :evil:

Georgia a avut o multime de orase cu troleibuze. De ce au renuntat la transportul electric chiar si in Tbilisi, care se modernizeaza extrem de repede, trebuie de vazut in diferite surse.

Iar ultimul model de Ziu este continuarea seriei ZIU 9 care a aparut in anii 70 si au fost construite peste 42 000 unitati.

Nu stiu cat de repede se modernizeaza Tbilisi (ce a ras vasta retea de troleibuze si tramvaie) dar sper ca presedintele european al Georgiei sa puna pana la urma si el un umar la modernizarea statului sau. A propos, de ce au masacrat reteaua de transport electric?

Da, acele troleibuze Optima sunt fabricate de catre TrolZa, uzina ce produce si acum ZIU-uri. Unele modele de troleibuz au si decuplare pneumatica a captatoarelor.

Din ce am gasit eu cauzele ar fi haosul din anii 90 care a distrus sistemul de transport si pretul inalt al energiei electrice. O sa mai caut informatii.
Dar am gasit o informatie conform careia in 2011 Primaria Tbilisi va pregati planul de inlocuire a autobuzelor cu transport electric.

Poate uneori e mai bine sa construiesti totul de la zero, decat sa renovezi o retea invechita.
Mai degraba se va construi in Tbilisi decat in Chisinau. :cry:
