Încă o porţiune importantă, în lungime de circa 650 de metri, de reţea electrică de contact pentru troleibuze va fi dată de miercuri, 14 iulie 2021, în funcţiune, aceasta după ce RATBV a finalizat o nouă lucrare de extindere şi modernizare a reţelei ce deserveşte transportul electric în municipiul Braşov. Astfel, troleibuzele de pe liniile 1, 6 şi 31 vor putea să circule cu captatorii conectaţi la reţea şi pe porţiunea, de pe bulevardele M. Kogălniceanu şi Iuliu Maniu, cuprinsă între Colegiul Naţional „Dr. Ioan Meşotă” şi intersecţia de la Aula Universităţii „Transilvania”.

Lucrarea a fost realizată de angajaţii societăţii şi a constat în relocarea unor elemente de reţea, pentru a se putea realiza încadrarea troleibuzelor în traficul rutier spre zona sediului Camerei de Comerţ şi Industrie, precum şi în înlocuirea unor console, încrucişări, piese de curbă etc. În aceste condiţii, troleibuzele Solaris ce deservesc traseele 1, 6 şi 31 vor fi mult mai bine exploatate, deoarece vor circula o perioadă mai mare conectate la reţea, fără a mai parcurge respectiva zonă cu ajutorul acumulatorilor. De asemenea, noua configuraţie a reţelei de contact pentru troleibuze elimină necesitatea operaţiunilor de captare şi decaptare, fapt de natură a preveni apariţia unor eventuale incidente sau întârzieri.

Ieri am trecut prin Brasov, prilej de a lua pulsul transportului public.

Au circulat 4 "elvetiene": 122, 70 (filmare) si 72 (foto) pe linia 8, 130 pe linia 7 (foto).

Batranele troleibuze se descurca excelent in traficul aglomerat din Brașov, circuland cu viteza destul de mare. Iata o filmare in interiorul lui 130.

Am remarcat ca noile Solarisuri ruleaza cu viteza mica pe tronsonul Rulmentul - bul. Gării, din cauza retelei extrem de uzate.

Traseele de troleibuz 1 si 6 au devenit axe forte. Sunt deservite cu vehicule silentioase, confortabile, de mare capacitate, circuland cu viteza mare, avand frecventa buna.

Din pacate, reteaua veche da de furca noilor troleibuze. Pe str. Hărmanului, dupa cele doua incrucisari, firul e aproape rasucit (se aude zgomotul produs de miezurile de grafic, redat in ultima filmare).

Cu macaze si incrucisari moderne, cu montarea retelei pe traversee (de ce nu se face? Exista stalpi pe ambele parti ale imensului giratoriu de aici), troleibuzul ar putea deveni rapid. Cu utilizarea excesiva, haotica a bateriilor lor, le scurtezi viata...

Str. Toamnei - str. Hărmanului.

Troleibuzele liniei 1 parcurg o distanta prea mare pana la recuplarea captatoarelor, in statia Toamnei (CEC). Macazul electric de pe str. Toamnei ar trebui sa fie folosit (si) de troleibuzele liniei 10, doar ca acum circula un autobuz pe acest traseu.
