L’offensive de la SNCF dans le low cost

L’offre Happy Hour va proposer des billets Intercités à 50% sur 177 destinations. Parallèlement, la SNCF lance une liaison 100% Éco le week-end sur Paris-Bordeaux qui reviendra entre 15 et 35 euros en seconde classe. Des tarifs agressifs destinés à séduire les adeptes du covoiturage.

Il y avait déjà un happy hour dans les bars, il y aura désormais un happy hour dans les trains. La SNCF lance une offre de dernière minute (J-2 à J-5) à 50%. 177 destinations Intercités sont concernées, soit 700 000 places jusqu’au 31 décembre 2015. Les billets seront vendus uniquement sur Internet. L’objectif de cette offre Happy Hour ? Contrer le covoiturage qui prend des parts de marché au train. La SNCF espère, au passage, augmenter un taux de d’occupation moyen qui plafonne à 50%.

La SNCF annonce, ainsi, un Paris-Amiens à 11 euros ; un Paris-Caen à 18 euros ; un Bordeaux-Toulouse à 20 euros ou encore un Paris-Limoges à 30 euros. La mise en vente des billets démarre le 31 mars 2015. Les voyageurs qui anticipent leurs déplacements, continueront de bénéficier des billets Prem’s, et les porteurs de cartes commerciales des réductions habituelles. En 2014, la SNCF avait déjà mis en vente 2 millions de billets à petits prix ; en 2015, elle en annonce 3 millions.

100% Éco

Après avoir lancé Paris-Toulouse en 2010, la SNCF va proposer une seconde liaison Intercités 100% Éco, Paris-Bordeaux. Le trajet de 4h30 coûtera entre 15 et 35 euros en seconde classe, et 45 euros en première. Là encore, il s’agit de concurrencer le covoiturage et des sites comme BlaBlaCar qui propose des prix allant de 31 à 40 euros pour le même trajet. Pour proposer ces tarifs low cost, la SNCF compte utiliser des trains qui roulent en grande banlieue parisienne, et proposer uniquement la vente des billets par internet.

L’offre 100% Éco démarre avec un aller-retour le samedi et le dimanche. Cela représente 80 000 places cette année. A partir de 2016, la période sera étendue du vendredi au lundi. En revanche, les billets ne sont ni échangeables, ni remboursables. La mise en vente démarre le 3 février 2015 pour un début de circulation le samedi 4 avril.

D'importants retards étaient à prévoir ce vendredi soir sur la ligne ferroviaire entre Paris et Marseille, en raison de l'incendie de la motrice d'un TGV, pour une raison inconnue, ont indiqué plusieurs sources concordantes.

Les pompiers ont indiqué qu'un feu est en cours «sur deux rames d'un train sur la ligne Paris-Marseille», et qu'une partie des passagers a été évacuée. La ligne étant électrifiée, ils attendaient, vers 18h30, l'arrêt du trafic pour pouvoir intervenir. Sur Twitter, les photos prises par des passagers montraient une épaisse fumée noire se dégageant de la motrice d'un TGV. Il s'agit, selon une passagère, du TGV Marseille-Paris parti à 15h06. Des photos postées sur le réseau social montraient l'évacuation de passagers.

Peu avant 18h30, un passager a indiqué par téléphone que le train est bloqué depuis «une bonne heure». La SNCF n'était pas dans l'immédiat en mesure de donner de précisions. On ignorait si des blessés sont à déplorer. A Paris, en gare de Lyon, où arrivent les trains en provenance de Marseille, un panneau faisait état, vers 18h30, de «la panne d'un train entre Valence et Lyon (qui) perturbe très fortement la circulation en direction de Paris». Les TGV en provenance de Marseille étaient affichés avec trois heures de retard, ceux en provenance de Hyères, Barcelone, Perpignan, avec une heure et demie de retard.

Une rame d'essai d'un TGV a déraillé ce samedi après-midi à hauteur d'Eckwersheim sur le pont franchissant le canal de la Marne-au-Rhin. Il y a sept morts, selon la préfecture et une quarantaine de blessés. Le plan rouge a été déclenché.

Cette rame d’essai qui, selon la SNCF, circulait dans le sens Paris-Strasbourg avec des techniciens à bord, sur la nouvelle ligne à grande vitesse du TGV Est, aurait «déraillé en raison d’une vitesse excessive», selon la même source. 49 personnes se trouvaient dans la rame.

Selon nos reporters sur place, la locomotive et plusieurs wagons ont plangé dans l'eau en contrebas du pont.

Un périmètre de sécurité a été mis en place, ainsi qu'un PC mobile.

De la fumée s'échappe de l'amas de tôle, mais plus de flammes. Aurelia 21 ans sortait d'un magasin et a vu un champignon de fumée noire...

Une équipe de plongeurs de la gendarmerie, des hélicoptères de la sécurité civile, ainsi que plusieurs dizaines de véhicules de secours, ont été dépêchés sur les lieux de l’accident.

Le secrétaire d’État chargé des Transports Alain Vidalies, ainsi que sa ministre de tutelle Ségolène Royal ont annoncé qu’ils allaient se rendre sur place. Un point presse est prévu à 18 h sur les lieux.

Se pare ca sunt aceleasi probleme ca si la accidentul cu trenul AVE de anul trecut: viteza prea mare pe un sector de cale ferata cu limitare de viteza.

SNCF President Guillaume Pepy emphasised the ‘over-riding importance of organisational and human factors’ following the publication on November 19 of an initial report into the fatal derailment near Strasbourg on November 14 of a TGV during commissioning trials for Phase 2 of LGV Est-Européenne. The accident claimed the lives of 11 people, injuring 37 of which three are still reported to be seriously ill.

The report has concluded that the ‘certain cause’ of the accident was ‘a late braking sequence’. The train derailed at 243 km/h after entering a 945 m radius c u r v e over a canal at Eckwersheim at 265 km/h, instead of the 176 km/h limit applying to that point in the test run. The resulting centrifugal force destabilised the TGV causing the vehicles to derail, with some coming to rest in the canal. The c u r v e forms the approach to the grade-separated junction between LGV Est and the Paris – Strasbourg main line at Vendenheim.

Noting that ‘the immediate cause is now known’, SNCF said that it had found no fault in the condition or operation of the infrastructure or the test train itself which could have contributed to the derailment. Nor were there any irregularities in the operational control of the area.

The report said that there were seven people in the cab of the TGV at the time of the accident. The authors suggest that this may have impaired the driver’s sight lines, and hindered the ability of a second driver to intervene to slow the train. Noise in the cab is also an area of focus, the report added. The two drivers and the traction inspector have been suspended by SNCF pending possible criminal charges.

Speaking at a press conference on November 19, Pepy outlined a series of measures to be implemented immediately. These cover four main areas: the management of test runs, organisational and human factors, disciplinary procedures against the individuals involved, and wider safety improvements.

Specific steps include the suspension of high speed test runs pending completion of an inquiry into how these are managed, and much stricter controls on access to test trains. Pepy said that the ongoing investigation would examine the ‘irresponsible’ presence of children on the train, as well as the interaction between people in the cab and those in the trailer cars.

He reiterated that the accident took place in the ‘specific circumstances of a test prior to commissioning of a railway’, where ‘some of the automated safety systems on the train were deactivated so as to complete the necessary tests of railway systems’.

The report’s findings have been passed to the public prosecutor and to the Director of BEA-TT, responsible for examining railway accidents.

Un tren TGV inOui de pe ruta Strasbourg - Paris de Gare Est a deraiat langa Saverne. Mecanicul se afla in stare grava.
