Un sistem interurban de troleibuze a existat intre localitatile Les Hauts-Geneveys, Cernier, Neuchatel si Villiers.

Conexiunea Les Hauts-Geneveys - Cernier - Villiers a fost realizata in anul 1948, inlocuind tramvaiele cu troleibuze.

Tronsonul Neuchatel - Cernier a fost dat in folosinta in anul 1949 (a rezistat pana in anul 1969, constructia unui viaduct in Valangin favorizand autobuzele). In anul 1984 troleibuzele au fost inlocuite cu autobuze.

Intre Petit-Chezard si Dombresson troleibuzele circulau pe aceeasi retea atat la ducere cat si la intoarcere.

Stalpi de lemn cu elemente de prindere a retelei tip Kummler-Matter.
