In 28 august 1910 a fost pusa in functiune linia interurbana Berlin - Schöneiche bei Berlin - Rüdersdorf bei Berlin.

In 5 noiembrie 1914 ruta a fost electrificata.

Capatul de linie din Berlin este gara Friedrichshagen (S-Bahn). Linia de tramvai nu este conectata la celelalte linii din interiorul Berlinului. Indicativ traseu: 88.

Schöneiche bei Berlin: 12154 locuitori.

Rüdersdorf bei Berlin: 15188 locuitori.

Operator: Schöneicher-Rüdersdorfer Straßenbahn GmbH (SRS).

In luna august a anului trecut a fost adus din Helsinki un tramvai Transtech Artic MLRV01. Aceasta este fabricat in 2014, circuland in capitala Finalandei cu nr. 402.

In curand, inca un astfel de tramvai va fi pus in circulatie si se spera si la achizitonarea unui al treilea tramvai, tot din Helsinki.
