Szegedi Kozlekedesi Tarsasag (SzKT) este operatorul de transport public din Szeged, avind in dotare troleibuze si tramvaie.

Tisza Volan are in dotare autobuzele.

Tramvaiul a fost inaugurat in 1 octombrie 1908, iar troleibuzul in 29 aprilie 1979. Tisza Volan administreaza rutele locale deservite cu autobuze.

La ora actuala exista 42 linii de autobuz, 3 de tramvai si 4 de troleibuz.

La data vizitei mele la Szeged, se desfasurau manifestarile "Zilele orasului". Toate produsele erau expuse pe diferite mese sau alte agregate, chiar pe un pod peste Tisa (Belvarosi hid), zona strazii Somogyi.
Traseele de troleibuz 5 si 9 au fost scurtate pina la Bartok ter, iar de acolo calatorii au fost imbarcati in autobuze. Am fost destul de mirat de solutia adoptata insa mi s-a raspuns ferm: "Noi am introdus transportul electric pentru ca este economic. L-am introdus pe rutele cele mai solicitate si nu ne putem permite sa circulam cu doua sisteme diferite (motor termic/motor electric) pe aceeasi ruta".

Incepand cu data de 16 iunie 2011, va fi pusa in functiune linia de troleibuz nr. 19. Practic este o varianta a liniei 9, linia 19 avand noul capat de linie la Tarjan.

Scandalul licitatiei pt. achizitionarea noilor troleibuze articulate (Ikarus/Skoda Electric) ia amploare: http://www.delmagyar.hu/szeged_hirek/tr ... at/2250290

Am mai spus, s-a cautat prilejul pt. demiterea directorului SzKT, dl. Dozsa Gabor, in cel mai politicianist mod cu putinta (Fidesz rules). Cartea de vizita a d-lui Dozsa o puteti vizualiza si in fotografiile/filmarile mele.

Odata cu darea in functiune a liniei de tramvai nr. 2 s-au schimbat cateva trasee de troleibuz.

A fost prezentat T-813, troleibuz provenind din conversia unui autobuz Skoda 21 Ab, ce se poate deplasa si cu ajutorul bateriilor.

SzKT a achizitionat 3 Citaro-uri articulate, necesare pt. inlocuirea unor troleibuze (sunt prea putini soferi de troleibuz!!!) si apoi a tramvaielor liniei 4 (lucrari de inlocuire a caii ferate).

Pentru a evita raspandirea coronavirusului (prevenind aglomerarea mijloacelor de transport in comun), se introduc doua trasee noi: 1S si 19S.
