Extinderi ale retelei de troleibuze si achizitionarea unor troleibuze noi (inclusiv bi-articulate) sunt planuri pt. urmatoarea perioada in aglomerarea Lucerna, conceptul "Agglomobil due".

Se va realiza prelungirea retelei de troleibuz pana la Buttenen.

Inca 9 troleibuze biarticulate. Troleibuzele vor avea doar 4 usi si "mutra" celor din Limoges.

Planuri de viitor ambitioase: o linie de troleibuz "RBus" (traseul 1), deservita cu troleibuze biarticulate si extinderea ei pana la Ebikon Bahnhof.

Die Ausgangslage für die Realisierung ist einmalig. Mit der Neubeschaffung von Doppelgelenktrolleybussen auf der Linie 1, den geplanten Infrastrukturmassnahmen auf der Strasse und der geplanten Verlängerung des Trolleybus bis Ebikon bestehen bereits konkrete Projekte. Es wird angeregt, dass alle Massnahmen des Strassenbauprogramms im Korridor Kriens‐Luzern‐Ebikon priorisiert umgesetzt werden.

Weitere Schritte

Die Umsetzung startet 2014 mit der Inbetriebnahme der neuen Doppelgelenktrolleybusse. Ab diesem Zeitpunkt werden die Infrastrukturmassnahmen schrittweise entlang der ersten Doppelgelenktrolleybuslinie 1 umgesetzt. Der RBus-Standard wird wie erwähnt auf kapazitätsstärken Linien realisiert. Erwartet wird mittel- bis langfristig die Umstellung von Gelenkbussen auf Doppelgelenktrolleybusse bei den Linien 2, 8 und 12.

Cele 9 troleibuze bi-articulate au sosit in Lucerna. Ele vor fi folosite temporar pe linia 8, iar din decembrie 2016, pe noua linie 2. In anul 2017 vor fi achizitionate alte astfel de troleibuze, pt. linia 8.

Incepand cu data de 11 decembrie 2016, va fi pus in folosinta traseul de troleibuz Kriens - Emmenbrücke. Acesta va purta indicativul 5, in cinstea primului traseu de troleibuz din Lucerna, ce a avut nr. 5, fiind pus in functiune in 11 decembrie 1941.

Odata cu noul traseu (nr. 5), au revenit troleibuzele pe traseul 2. Si nu oricum, ci troleibuze bi-articulate (RBus).

Parlamentul cantonal a dat unda verde extinderii retelei de troleibuz de la Lucerna la Ebikon. S-a preferat tehnologia eficienta, dovedita (vor fi folosite troleibuze biarticulate), respingandu-se experimentarea tehnologiei imature a autobuzelor cu baterii.

Transportul cu troleibuze a fost pus in functiune in data de 7 decembrie 1941.

La ora actuala sunt 7 trasee de troleibuz, deservind localitatile Luzern (Lucerne / Lucerna, 81592 locuitori), Emmen (30228 locuitori), Horw (13884 locuitori), Kriens (27110 locuitori) si Littau (17224 locuitori; din 2010 a devenit cartier al Lucernei).

Traseele 1 si 2 sunt deservite cu troleibuze bi-articulate, 8-ul cu troleibuze articulate si bi-articulate si 4, 5, 6, 7 cu troleibuze articulate.

Electrificare: 600 V CC.

Parc de vehicule:

- 26 troleibuze Hess SwissTrolley 3 (BGT-N2C)
- 4 troleibuze Hess SwissTrolley 3 (BGT-N2D)
- 3 troleibuze Hess lighTram (BGGT-N2C)
- 26 troleibuze Hess lighTram (BGGT-N2D)

RBUS. Siguranta si confort.
