In prezent, pe strazile Constantei mai circula doar 20 de troleibuze: 15 Rocar 412E (fabricate in 2002) si 5 Rocar 212E (fabricate intre 1996 si 1999).
Au mai ramas doar 2 trasee:
48. Palas - Poarta 2 Port
48b. Palas - Gara

Fiecare troleibuz lucreaza alternativ pe cele 2 trasee: o tura pe 48, o tura pe 48b.
Troleibuzele pentru ranforsari stau parcate la capatul Palas.

Rocar 212E mai circula: #619, #620, #621, #622, #624.
Rocar 212E retrase (din 2003 sunt in conservare; sunt functionale si nu s-a luat nimic de pe ele): #614, #615, #616, #617, #618, #623.
Dac 112E: #406 (s-a desfiintat usa din mijloc) - ungator, retras, in conservare.
Rocar 412E: #625-#639.

Constanta a fost poate orasul care a avut cea mai mare pondere a transportului electric din tara -raportat la nr. total de trasee-. Stiu ca a existat aici o echipa puternica de specialisti, ce a ajutat si alte orase sa isi dezvolte transportul electric.

Un punct de atractie il reprezenta linia de troleibuz nr. 41 Gara Constanta - Mamaia. Pe aceasta ruta erau introduse cele mai bune troleibuze aflate in parcul RATC, dezvoltind o viteza mare de deplasare in Mamaia.

Cind nimeni nu se astepta, banul a invins ecologia. Un primar cu nume verde (poti fi indus de conceptul ecologist, cum ca iarba nu se calca, ci se fumeaza !) a hotarit ca "transportul electric nu mai este de actualitate" -fraza ce rasuna si astazi foarte strident-, comandind uzinei Rocar 90 autobuze si 30 troleibuze. Troleibuzele urmau sa deserveasca liniile 48, 48 barat, 49 si 51. Finalul a fost dezastruos, inregistrindu-se falimentul uzinei Rocar, faliment ce a generat consecinte imediate grave nu doar in ceea ce priveste aspectul social. Norocul e Rocar-ul a reusit sa livreze Primariei Constanta 10 troleibuze Rocar de Simon, fara chopper. Altfel, nu mai exista troleibuz in Constanta. Asta nu inseamna ca acesta mai are mult de trait.

Reteaua de troleibuz a fost demontata brutal, aceasta disparind fara urma (cu substatii de redresare cu tot). Iar cea care a ramas, zau ca nu prea vad cum mai rezista. Culmea, troleibuzele liniei 48 dezvolta viteza mare pe traseu, fara a se inregistra deraieri de captatoare.

Mi-am inceput calatoria din intersectia a doua strazi, Eliberarii si Dezrobirii.
A ramas reteaua ce face legatura intre depoul de troleibuze si bul. I. C. Bratianu, folosita mai demult si de catre troleibuzele 49 si 51.

In aceeasi perioada de timp, un viceprimar tinar, care "promitea" (a si devenit ulterior primar), se implica in dezvoltarea transportului electric la el in oras. Achizitiona pt. RAT Brasov o mare parte din troleibuzele constantene scoase din circulatie, mai apoi se implica in achizitionarea unor troleibuze din Innsbruck, vorbea de exclusivitatea transportului electric in Schei, propunea hotariri de consiliu local pt. extinderea retelei de troleibuz (pe stada de Mijloc).

Insa exemplul negativ dat de Constanta a distrus si Brasovul.

Daca cel de la Brasov a distrus transportul cu tramvaiul, nici cel de la Constanta nu s-a lasat mai prejos. Zilele acestea, tramvaiul isi traieste ultimile clipe, dupa o agonie destul de indelungata.

In imaginile de mai jos se distinge si calea de rulare a fostei linii 105. Vom vorbi separat despre ea.

Ambele personaje negative au prezentat distrugerea sistemelor de transport ecologic drept o mare victorie. Impotriva "relicvelor Estului" (deci si impotriva unor orase precum Lucerna, Zurich, Solingen, Salzburg, Lyon, Castellon, Vancouver, etc., etc.).
Fara hotariri de consiliu local, ambii au distrus proprietatea, la urma-urmei, a contribuabilului constanean, respectiv brasovean.

In contrast flagrant cu nimurugii ale caror actiuni le stiti, se situeaza personalul RATC. Le multumesc tuturor acelora cu care m-am intilnit si care m-au sprijinit. Inca mai sper ca specialistii vor decide.

In depoul RATC sint garate si autobuzele liniilor 49 si 51.

Tot aici gasim si troleibuzul 406, folosit pt. gresarea retelei de contact troleibuze.

Aici o sa pun si fotografiile troleibuzelor din depou. Mentionez ca am vizitat depoul intr-o zi de simbata. De aceea, sint atit de multe troleibuze garate.
