Mercedes Benz O 305 G2 (GG) a fost testat si in varianta O-Bahn.

Despre sistemul O-bahn (Spurbus) din Essen, facand si un index al paginilor in care se vorbeste despre acest sistem am vorbit deja aici: http://forum.transira.ro/viewtopic.php?t=1349

Essen -a renuntat la troleibuzele ce aveau rotite laterale pt. ghidaj tocmai pt. ca nu se mai fabricau astfel de vehicule (asta este explicatia oficiala).

De amintit si de sistemul denumit "fura-fila" (tot O-bahn) testat in Sao Paolo. A fost repede abandonat, fiind vorba doar de promisiuni electorale.

Un alt sistem O-bahn a functionat in Mannheim intre aprilie 1992 si septembrie 2005. Autobuze diesel.
